Manufacturing Engineer Central (m/f/d)

Job Summary
Plan, support, and lead projects to develop, procure, and install machines and tooling for series production under quality, financial, technical, and temporal requirements. Create detailed specifications and Statements of Work for manufacturing equipment, driving make-or-buy decisions and managing suppliers from concept through series production. Coordinate on-site installation, commissioning, and handover in plants while ensuring complete documentation of machinery in the ME database. Develop and optimize processes, machinery, and tooling to support new product introductions, quality improvements, and maintenance requirements. Define global standards for assigned processes and collaborate with key stakeholders across Operations, Product Engineering, and Purchasing. Conduct feasibility analyses and PFMEAs to support production sites in optimization projects.
Required Qualifications
- Engineering or technician degree ideally in mechanical, mechatronic or production engineering or comparable qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in the automotive industry or high-volume production environments
- Proven competency in Project Management
- Excellent communication skills
- A hands-on mentality
- Ability to build strong working relationship and communicate on various levels in an international environment, from work floor to upper management and non-technical stakeholders
- Proven competency in working with CAD (Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD or SolidWorks)
- Advanced English and German language skills, both written and spoken
Desired Qualifications
- Electrical knowledge preferred
- A sense and awareness for product quality
- Knowledge of CE regulations is a plus
- Additional languages are an advantage
