Job Summary
Manufacturing Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and sustaining manufacturing processes with emphasis on automation and controls. Lead equipment ramp-up, debugging, and performance stabilization to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets. Develop, modify, and maintain PLC programs (ladder logic, structured text); configure HMIs, sensors, vision systems, robotics, and industrial networks; ensure safety alignment with standards. Lead technical debugging of equipment and process failures, analyze machine data to identify root causes, and implement permanent corrective actions. Improve cycle time, throughput, and labor efficiency through process, automation, and controls enhancements; pursue poka-yoke and standardization; support Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement events. Provide daily operations support and collaborate with operations, maintenance, and quality teams; develop standard work, troubleshooting guides, and training materials; maintain electrical schematics, PLC backups, and change logs; ensure compliance with safety regulations and participate in audits. This role requires a Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or technology and 3+ years of manufacturing engineering or controls/automation experience. Pay range: $79,000-$158,000 annually.
