Job Summary
Manufacturing Engineer to support the transfer, validation, and startup of hydrogel/polymer manufacturing processes for a hydrogel-based medical device. Responsible for documentation, GMP/compliance alignment, equipment qualification, line/start-up readiness, and cross-functional collaboration. Key duties include documenting current/future-state processes, participating in IQ/OQ/PQ activities, FAT/SAT support, equipment qualification, line setup, MES/SAP/BOMs data management, and continuous-improvement initiatives. Travel: ~30%+ of time. Strong emphasis on hands-on process development, data collection/analysis, and cross-functional teamwork within GMP environments.
Required Qualifications
- Hons bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or related technical discipline (Chemical, Process, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Biomedical, Materials, or Polymer Engineering)
- 1–3 years’ experience in process engineering, manufacturing engineering, equipment engineering, or related technical role
