Job Summary
Hands-on Manufacturing Engineer to drive process improvements, cost savings, automation initiatives, and new product launches on the production floor. Lead projects from concept through implementation, support new customer programs, implement new equipment, and establish manufacturing best practices. Collaborate with production, engineering, quality, and automation teams to improve performance, develop and maintain documentation, and optimize metrics such as cycle time, downtime, scrap, throughput, and OEE. 70% on the production floor and 30% on documentation, analysis, and project work.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing engineering experience
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, process improvement, and Lean principles
- Experience implementing new equipment, automation, or capital projects
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and bills of material
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience developing manufacturing documentation, work instructions, and process controls
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and drive projects to completion
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making abilities
