Job Summary
Manufacturing Engineer role at an automotive plant focusing on supporting Fuel Injector manufacturing. Responsibilities include development of SOPs, Control Plans, and TS16949-compliant documentation; defining new product manufacturing and equipment specifications, processes, and hardware; performing cost justifications for new products; collaborating with engineers and technicians to launch new products; providing technical leadership for assigned product lines; troubleshooting quality and process issues; implementing process improvements to reduce scrap and waste; and performing other duties as assigned by the Manufacturing Manager. Requires leadership, organization, time management, diagnostic, technical, and strong communication skills, with BS in Mechanical Engineering and at least 3 years of manufacturing engineering experience, plus experience with ISO or QS systems and project management.
Required Qualifications
- BS degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of 3 years of Manufacturing Engineering Experience
- Experience with ISO or QS systems
- Project management experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
