Job Summary
Own the daily technical performance of assigned production lines by monitoring machine status, production flow, and key performance metrics. Lead structured escalation of safety, quality, delivery, and equipment issues while coordinating cross-functional resources including Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and the Process Group. Drive rapid problem solving to restore production to standard conditions and verify that corrective actions achieve expected performance. Maintain manufacturing documentation including work instructions and engineering standards to support adherence to standardized work across the production line. Monitor production performance trends and identify emerging risks to support production planning through cycle time, capacity, and equipment performance analysis.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related technical discipline
- 3–7 years of manufacturing engineering or production engineering experience
- Experience supporting automated high-volume manufacturing operations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex production data
- Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments
- Extreme willingness to share know-how
- Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to quality and operational excellence
- Root cause analysis (8D, A3, 5 Why, Fishbone)
- Lean Manufacturing principles
- Statistical process understanding
- TRC & MRC
- Manufacturing KPIs (OEE, FPY, Scrap, Tech/Org Downtime, Cycle Time)
- Microsoft Excel and data analysis
- Indefinite U.S. work authorization
Desired Qualifications
- MES, ERP, or production monitoring systems
- Databricks & Query language experience
