Job Summary
Under the direction of the Area Manager, evaluate current manufacturing processes and implement improvements by designing testing methods, analyzing workflows, and planning equipment layouts. Assist CNC programming to accelerate automation while collaborating with production planning to ensure units meet schedules. Calculate production, labor, and material costs to provide decision-making information for both current and new products. Review routings for correctness, make necessary updates, and provide work leadership and training to operators. Research and propose continuous improvement modifications for existing processes or equipment.
Required Qualifications
- 2-year degree in a related field
- 2-4 years' experience in a manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated experience in Process Analysis
- Implementing changes
- Creating documentation
- Strong knowledge of Sheet Metal fabricating equipment including lasers, turret punch presses, hydraulic brakes, welding, and assembly
- Proficiency in Solidworks
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Machine/PLC Programming Languages (Mazatrol, G code)
- Reading and interpretation drawings/blueprints

- Hands on experience with electronic and mechanical inspection equipment: dial calipers, dial indicators, micrometers, height stands, gage blocks and pin gages, thread gages, etc.
