Job Summary
The Manufacturing Engineer (Assembly) role involves leading problem-solving and troubleshooting related to non-conforming materials and customer complaints. Responsibilities include ensuring processes are compliant with approved instructions, providing mentoring to Technicians and Operators, and participating in plant-wide Corrective/Preventive Action (CAPA) initiatives. Key tasks also include developing production plans, evaluating non-conforming products, and driving yield improvements using Lean methodologies. Candidates should have a Bachelor's Degree in relevant engineering fields or equivalent experience in a medical device environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Polymer, Science, Biomedical or Mechanical Engineering
- 5+ years’ experience in a Process Assembly Technician role in a medical device environment
Desired Qualifications
- Lean Systems Green Belt (LSGB) certification is desirable
- Six Sigma Green Belt (SSGB) certification is also desirable
