Job Summary

Manufacturing Engineer – Engine Assembly will implement and validate established Jenbacher assembly processes from the Jenbach production plant into the new engine production startup in Waukesha. You’ll localize global process standards, work instructions, PFMEAs, and routings to fit Waukesha equipment, layout, and workforce. Responsibilities include supporting installation, commissioning, and operational readiness of production equipment, conducting first-run trials and capability checks, troubleshooting ramp-up issues, coordinating tooling and fixtures, analyzing workflows for improvements in efficiency and ergonomics, providing operator and maintenance training, preparing process readiness reports and capability summaries, and communicating status and requirements across global and local teams.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
  • 2+ years of manufacturing engineering experience
  • Experience with assembly and/or machining of heavy industrial equipment
  • Proficiency in CAD software and ability to interpret complex technical drawings and schematics
  • Working knowledge of GD&T principles
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
