Job Summary
Implement established Jenbacher assembly processes into the new Waukesha production plant and localize global standards, PFMEAs, routings, and work instructions to fit Waukesha equipment and workforce. Lead first-run trials, capability checks, and process validation; diagnose and resolve ramp-up issues; coordinate with facilities, maintenance, and vendors to ensure tooling and stations meet process expectations; analyze workflows for efficiency and material flow improvements; provide operator and maintenance training using transferred global documentation; prepare process readiness reports and updates for stakeholders; collaborate with global and local engineering, quality, operations, and EHS teams to ensure production readiness. Strong collaboration across global teams, problem-solving, and effective communication across operators, engineers, and senior leadership are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- 2+ years of manufacturing engineering experience
- Experience with assembly and/or machining of heavy industrial equipment
- Proficiency in CAD software
- Ability to interpret complex technical drawings and schematics
- Working knowledge of GD&T principles
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
