Job Summary
Analyze board layouts, workflows, and workforce utilization to design and implement manufacturing processes that maximize efficiency. Apply engineering and lean principles to determine cycle times, design tools, and recommend capital equipment and facility layouts. Lead industrial test fixture design, operate electronic test equipment, and perform repairs on manufacturing products. Generate documentation for engineering change requests and notices, including BOMs and drawings. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the facility while collaborating with cross-functional teams to sustain current product platforms.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering
- Green Belt Certified
- 3-5 years of experience with electromechanical products
- Experience and knowledge with MRP
- ISO
- SMT Fabrication Equipment
- UL
- CE
- CSA
- NSF
- Ability to sit or stand for up to 6-8 hours at time
- Must be able to lift/push/Pull/carry up to 50 pounds

- Excellent technical skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent knowledge of production/quality standards, and assembly procedures/processes
- Knowledge and experience with SolidWorks, PADS, Altium, LabVIEW, C+, PIC or similar
- Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
