Job Summary
Mid America Stainless is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to evaluate and enhance operational procedures and manufacturing methods. Responsibilities include analyzing and executing production workflows, determining root causes of failures, coordinating equipment maintenance, securing and recording maintenance records, providing cross-functional leadership for process improvements, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing Engineering or a related field, have over 5 years of product manufacturing experience, and demonstrate strong analytical skills along with mechanical and electrical aptitude.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field
- Proven work experience of more than 5+ years in product manufacturing
- Advanced organizational, analytical and communications skills
- Experience using calculus, trigonometry, algebra and other types of math
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with advanced problem-solving skills
- Knowledgeable in machine controls, drives and automation
- Working understanding of PLC's desirable
