Job Summary
Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to improve productivity, quality, and delivery performance while supporting daily production operations by resolving technical and process-related issues. Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing principles, analyze production data to reduce waste and cycle times, and collaborate with cross-functional teams for new product introduction. Create and maintain manufacturing documentation, evaluate new technologies, and ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards. Participate in capacity planning, layout improvements, and production line optimization while working closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders. Support root cause analysis for quality challenges and contribute to sustainability initiatives by improving resource efficiency and reducing emissions. This onsite role in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering with 2+ years of experience. Base salary is $83,000.00-$98,000.00.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience
- Proven experience in a manufacturing or industrial engineering environment
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production systems, and continuous improvement methodologies
- Experience working with lean manufacturing tools and techniques
- Knowledge of quality standards and process improvement methods
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and manufacturing-related systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken
- Experience with automation, digital manufacturing, or Industry 4.0 technologies
- Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
- Knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies and structured problem-solving tools
- Experience in assembly, machining, welding, or process manufacturing environments
- Project management experience and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment
- Passion for continuous improvement, innovation, and sustainability
- Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (steel toe boots, safety glasses, and ear plugs)
- Frequently exposed to outside weather conditions
- The noise level in the work environment is often loud
