Job Summary

Manufacturing Engineer responsible for contributing to operational excellence in manufacturing processes at AFL. Core duties include applying continuous improvement tools, conducting time studies and line balancing, performing process capability analyses, implementing 5S and the Fujikura Production System (FPS), managing quality planning (FMEA, scrap/PPM control), documentation and ERP/Oracle-based workflow, and ensuring productivity and on-time delivery. Requires 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing, knowledge of AutoCAD and MASS requirements, and strong emphasis on process documentation, production metrics, and quality standards (TL 9000, ISO 14001). Proficient in English with a background in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

Required Qualifications

  • Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or Business Administration or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing environments
  • experience managing workforce, materials, and equipment
  • monitoring operational metrics
  • implementing and developing manufacturing processes for new and existing products
  • ensuring productivity and on-time delivery
  • English proficiency (intermediate to advanced)
  • familiarity with TL 9000 and ISO 14001
