Job Summary
Design and implement manufacturing processes in collaboration with Tier 1 suppliers, leading teams to identify root causes and resolve quality issues. Drive day-to-day manufacturing operations and New Product Introduction while supporting cost reduction projects across Mass Production and New Products. Lead Lean Six Sigma and Industry 4.0 maturity initiatives, conducting audits to measure progress and drive continuous improvement using tools like Line Balancing, 5S, and PFMEA. Manage Engineering Change and Deviations processes, validate work instructions, and ensure production BOM accuracy. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze processes, eliminate re-occurrence, and develop cost models for feasibility analysis.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of three days per week in one of the Zebra office locations
- BS degree in Engineering (Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical etc.) with 5+ years of experience
- Master's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical etc.) with 4+ years of experience
- Experience in Manufacturing Engineering/Process engineering /Industrial engineering/Logistics/ Lean Six Sigma
- Strong Knowledge of Process/Industrial Engineering and Lean & Six Sigma (E.g., Design of Experiments & Root-Cause Analysis)
- New Product launch and Project Management experience
- Process FMEA, Control Plan and Error proofing implementation experience
- Creating cost models and performing feasibility analysis
- Working knowledge for project payback analysis and financial justification - ROI
- Working with cross-functional teams including Product Development, Analytical, Safety, Regulatory, Technology Assurance (or equivalent), and Quality Assurance (where applicable), in a technical role
- Proficient in MS office software
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge/ Experience in with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and working in Medical Devices, Personal Care, Consumer Electronics or Pharmaceutical manufacturing is a plus
- Green Belt as a plus
