Job Summary
The Manufacturing Engineer will oversee the transition from prototype to full-rate production for a new hardware line, focusing on designing and validating manufacturing processes. This role involves optimizing production readiness through Lean and Six Sigma principles.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics or Aerospace Engineering (or similar)
- 3-5+ years of experience in manufacturing or testing within aerospace, avionics or other regulated industries
- Demonstrable experience setting up a production line as a manufacturing engineer
- Ability to read and interpret designs and drawings
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Desired Qualifications
- Lean/Six Sigma certification
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python
- Background in other regulated industries, such as medical device or automotive manufacturing
- DoD experience
