Manufacturing Engineer

Job Summary
Design, implement, and improve manufacturing processes to support safe, efficient, and high-quality production while partnering with cross-functional teams to eliminate operational bottlenecks. Develop, specify, and deploy manufacturing equipment, machinery, and tooling; monitor performance data to identify improvement opportunities. Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, cost, efficiency, and throughput, and support root cause investigations and corrective actions. Participate in new product introduction activities, develop manufacturing documentation, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related technical field
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production operations
- Ability to analyze problems, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
- Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies and lean manufacturing principles
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard engineering tools
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- 2–5 years of manufacturing engineering experience in a production environment
- Experience supporting manufacturing equipment, tooling, and process improvements
- Experience with new product introduction (NPI) or new production line development
- Knowledge of CAD software and engineering design tools
- Experience with data analysis, process metrics, and performance reporting
- Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma experience
- Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment
- Strong desire to work in a hands-on, production-floor-focused engineering role
