Job Summary
Optimize production assembly methods, processes, and equipment to minimize labor hours while ensuring operational continuity and minimizing downtime. Define working phase sequences for new production processes to achieve targeted product costs and equipment investment budgets. Provide technical troubleshooting for manufacturing equipment, including molding machines and test systems. Develop, audit, and continuously improve Bills of Material (BOMs), production routings, work instructions, and Standard Operating Procedures through time studies and process audits. Identify and implement improvements to operational processes to drive efficiency and standardization across production areas. Collaborate with suppliers on quality-related activities, supporting vendor evaluation and the continuous improvement of incoming parts and materials. This onsite role in Hackettstown, NJ, contributes to the Manufacturing Engineering Team with stakeholders in Operations, Quality, and Engineering.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role
- background in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electromechanical Engineering
- Hands-on experience in industrial manufacturing environments
