Job Summary
Manufacturing Engineer to develop, optimize, and support manufacturing processes that enhance safety, efficiency, quality, and production performance within the Littlestown Production Unit. You’ll plan and complete engineering projects to improve production capacity, quality, and efficiency; collaborate with R&D, sales, marketing, and operations on new product launches; ensure efficient 3D printing and assembly with manufacturing standards on process release; implement time studies to improve capacity for assembly and quality; create standard work and quality standards, and promote continuous improvement using lean methods within cross-functional teams. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering (or related discipline), manufacturing experience (internships qualify), knowledge of 3D printing/additive manufacturing a plus, strong problem-solving and project-management capabilities, and the ability to work legally in the United States.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, or related discipline from an accredited institution
- Mechanical and/or electrical engineering experience in a manufacturing environment (internship experience qualifies)
- Knowledge of 3D Printing or additive manufacturing a plus
- Excellent problem-solving, advanced planning, organizational, and implementation skills with a passion for results; project management experience highly preferred
- Deep understanding of continuous improvement with effective change management skills; experience in a lean manufacturing environment (Six Sigma, PMI, etc.) ideal
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and networking skills with the ability to interact with senior leadership
- Data driven with a fact-based mindset, and effective at reporting and communicating relevant information
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship needs
