Job Summary
Oversee and facilitate component movement through manufacturing stages, coordinating physical transfers across purchasing, receiving, inventory, and work centers. Liaise with procurement for outside processing and optimize workflow staging to maintain production flow. Monitor material delivery against schedule timelines, generate reports on requirements and milestones, and escalate part shortages or BOM discrepancies to relevant departments. Collaborate with engineers, schedulers, and the planning team on run releases and shortage management. Work cross-functionally with manufacturing, engineering, and quality assurance teams to resolve blockers proactively. Full-time, non-exempt role in Long Beach; willing to work evening and weekend shifts.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years in a manufacturing environment
- Willingness to work evenings and/or weekends to support critical mission milestones
- Ability to lift up to 25lbs unassisted
- Must be a U.S. person as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.62 or otherwise eligible for deemed export licensing
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience with MRP/ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- 2+ years of Smartsheet
- Highly detail oriented and self starter
- Forklift experience
