Manufacturing Coordinator - Materials Management

Job Summary
Acknowledge and process consigned material $0 POs from contract manufacturers, including creating material transfers, determining correct containers, and updating POs with accurate quantities. Request and coordinate the transfer of consigned materials from the 3PL, ensuring on-time delivery and proper storage at external warehouses. Review weekly shortage lists for critical items, monitor inventory levels, and track production and shipping progress to ensure daily actuals are reported. Facilitate the return of nonconforming material, coordinate replacements, and support insurance claims. This role reports to the Operations Manager within Fluence's Operations team, a global leader in energy storage technology solutions.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience working in an operational or supply chain
- Experience with contract manufactures
- Knowledge of supply chain processes
- Working experience of relevant software (e.g. SAP, NetSuite)
- Prior experience working with teams to drive continuous improvement
- Problem solver and result oriented
- High Attention to detail and data accuracy
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to write clearly and succinctly in a variety of communication settings and styles
- Experience tracking, prioritizing and driving multiple concurrent projects in a fast paced, growing company
- Driven, proactive and can-do attitude
- Hands-on and want to get things done
