Job Summary
Operate hand tools and equipment while reading production documentation and wiring schematics to perform final assembly, electrical testing, and packaging. Screen and separate parts, record assembly time data, and complete routing and quality inspection forms. Cross-train across multiple assembly functions and work centers to meet changing production requirements, utilizing pallet jacks, portable staircases, and carts to move loads up to 100 pounds. Adhere to PPE requirements, ISO specifications, and company procedures while sitting or standing for extended periods.
Required Qualifications
- Junior or senior in high school
- At least 16 years of age by the start of the role
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to read and comprehend English written production documents
- Basic computer skills
- Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude toward all aspects of work
- Apply effort and energy to lifelong learning and strive to continually grow
- Knowledge of and desire to work in a production environment
- Willing to be cross trained in several assembly functions to meet constantly changing production requirements
- Willing to be moved into various work centers in order to meet production requirements or where skills best serve department and company goals
- Must be able to sit or stand for at least 4 hours
- Must be able to lift or move containers weighing up to a maximum of 50 pounds
- Attendance in accordance with company policies
- Able to use pallet jack
- Able use portable staircase and climb to 12 foot heights
- Able to carry 20 pound / 3cubic feet boxes up and down portable staircase
- Able to push 4-wheeled cart with 100-pound load
- Regular and on-time attendance
