Job Summary
Senior Manufacturing Buyer responsible for leading procurement of materials, parts, and tools required for manufacturing operations. Develop and maintain supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability; evaluate and select suppliers based on performance, pricing, and delivery capabilities; utilize supply chain software and ERP to streamline purchasing processes; identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and cost savings; analyze demand forecasts, production schedules, and inventory levels to plan purchases; negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with vendors; monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to delivery, quality, or invoicing; collaborate closely with production, engineering, and finance teams to support operational goals; ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all purchasing activities.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Experience with supply chain management software, ERP systems, and procurement tools
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, Operations, or related field preferred
- Equivalent experience in a manufacturing procurement role will also be considered
