Job Summary
Manage multi-variant, scalable Manufacturing Bill of Materials (MBOM) structures across diverse vehicle wheelbases, payload ratings, and powertrain setups. Drive the seamless transition of engineering design datasets into sequence-driven manufacturing structures, defining plant consumption points and line-side stocking rules. Implement and monitor strict "Evolution" and "Variant" effectivity to ensure exact part association with specific VIN configurations and serial production schedules. Proactively analyze data discrepancies through comparative reports to maintain 100% BOM accuracy and directly audit multi-level parts lists. Direct the execution of Engineering, Manufacturing, and Process Change Orders, rigorously assessing operational impacts to expedite turnaround times and prevent delays. Collaborate with purchasing, logistics, and quality assurance to verify cross-system data alignment and support smooth prototype builds through serial production.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of technical manufacturing data or configuration management experience within an automotive OEM or Tier-1 supplier environment
- Advanced, hands-on proficiency in the Dassault Systèmes 3DEXPERIENCE (3DX) platform for configuration control, product structuring, and change management
- Working knowledge of NetSuite ERP for managing inventory master data, item records, and production routing
- Proven expertise managing massive, multi-level configurable data frameworks
- Deep, structural understanding of option rules, variant conditions, system dependencies, and effectivity dates
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline
Desired Qualifications
- Direct exposure to EV platforms, high-voltage battery enclosures, powertrain distribution, or commercial chassis integration
- Deep expertise in Siemens Teamcenter
- Experience with other enterprise systems like Oracle or SAP
