Job Summary
Lead the supervision of shop-floor employees for the 2nd shift, overseeing hiring, training, and performance discussions while coordinating with temp agencies. Enforce health and safety policies, administer training, and report incidents, ensuring adherence to all safety standards. Drive operational excellence by monitoring factory KPIs, managing production schedules, and implementing SOPs for continuous improvement. Manage inventory by reviewing receipts, scanning cylinders, reconciling discrepancies, and facilitating cycle counts. Coordinate with HR and Finance for payroll approvals, PTO, and annual performance reviews, while ensuring equipment maintenance and daily cleaning standards.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate and equivalent
- 3 to 5 years related experience
- Bachelors Degree (Engineering)
- Warehouse Management System experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and challenging environment
- Strong work ethic and leadership mindset
- Knowledgeable in administrative/operational procedures such as work schedules, set-ups, safety, and housekeeping requirements
- Strong written, verbal, people skills, and other technical skills to properly direct, assist, and train personnel
- Intermediate experience in Microsoft Office required specifically Power point and Excel
- Ability to lift 30-50 lbs
- Must have a strong work ethic and leadership mindset
- Must be knowledgeable in administrative/operational procedures such as work schedules, set-ups, safety, and housekeeping requirements
