Job Summary
Place electronic components into printed circuit boards following detailed instructions and inspect your own work alongside that of others to ensure products meet all customer and regulatory requirements. Communicate quality issues to the appropriate team and manager as needed while contributing to a positive team environment and maintaining a clean, organized area. Assist in other departments as needed and participate in controlled process improvement projects. This role is key to company quality standards at Vanguard EMS, Inc., where you will apply critical thinking and hands-on skills to produce qualified processes exceeding IPC standards.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent
- Displays a high-level critical thinking, analysis, and organization
- Demonstrated self-motivation, problem solving abilities, team spirit and a 'hands on' mentality
- Strong attention to detail and proficient communication skills, both written and oral
- Ability to give and receive constructive feedback
- Solid understanding of common manufacturing processes, equipment operation, and basic electronic component identification and board handling (PCBA)
- Effectively manipulate small and/or fragile components and tools
- Ability to use visual aids, complicated drawings to verify quality products
- Communicate in person, over the phone, email, internet or in writing in a positive, professional manner
- Willingness to work overtime as needed to support production (daily and weekly)

Desired Qualifications
- Experience with pre wave processing
- IPC 610 certification
