Job Summary
Manage fabrication, supermarket, and assembly operations by operating manufacturing equipment, using hand tools, and interpreting customer requirements from production paperwork and CAD drawings. Perform daily duties to ensure material flow, follow safe work practices, and adhere to Standardized Work and Control Plans. Assist in identifying training needs, propose quality metric improvements, and engage in cross-training to maintain flexibility. Identify problems, communicate issues to leads, and support a respectful workplace while working established rates defined by customer demand.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Possess organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrate a sense of urgency to complete work on schedule
- Proven ability to understand and adhere to all process controls as documented (SWDs, JBAs, CPs)
- Ability to read and understand reports and a willingness to cross train on several operations
- Possess communication, teamwork, problem solving, and leadership skills
- Dependability/punctuality
- Ability to interpret drawings and dimensions
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, perform tasks requiring repetitive motion and stand for long periods
- Ability to read a tape measure
