Job Summary
Assemble medical device products using hand tools, calibrated instruments, and microscopes while maintaining cleanroom integrity and adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices. Perform in-process quality checks, identify root causes of line issues, and collaborate with engineering to implement corrective actions and process improvements. Read engineering drawings, enter documentation data, and participate in Lean Manufacturing and 5S initiatives to enhance efficiency. Serve as a certified trainer to mentor junior team members and coach peers on standard operating procedures. Ensure full compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and regulatory policies throughout production.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate or technical degree
- 3–5 years of experience in a regulated manufacturing environment
- Experience working within a clean room environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow complex instructions and procedures
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot line issues
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to collaborate within a team environment
