Job Summary
Feed books and signatures into high-speed bindery machines, pack finished items into cartons, and safely move materials between workstations. Perform hand operations as required, inspect products for quality standards, and follow safety procedures to maintain a clean, organized workspace. Work as part of a team to hit daily production goals on the fast-paced, team-oriented floor. This role includes training for equipment operation and requires standing for most of the shift with occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. Required Qualifications
- High school Diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one to three months related experience and /or training
- equivalent combination of education or experience
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as work orders, workplace, and safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Basic math skills, add subtract, and ability to use a measuring device
- Basic problem-solving skills
- Are mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools
- Can read basic job instructions and measurements
- Take pride in doing quality work
- Show up reliably and work well with a team
- Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally

- Print, bindery, or finishing experience
- Experience setting up or adjusting production equipment
