Job Summary
Manufacturing Associate responsible for operating and maintaining woodworking machinery (saws, sanders, routers, CNC), selecting and cutting wood to precise dimensions, assembling components with hand/power tools and adhesives, and conducting quality checks to ensure accuracy and safety. The role includes loading/unloading materials, maintaining a clean, organized workspace, assisting with inventory, collaborating with team members to optimize production, and adhering to safety policies and PPE usage in a woodworking environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Proficiency in operating various hand and power tools common in woodworking
- Basic math skills and the ability to accurately measure materials
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Forklift certification is a plus but not required (training may be provided)
