Job Summary

Direct day-to-day oversight and planning of manufacturing operations, including inspecting operator work, documenting yields and reject data, and executing production plans within designated areas. Act as the liaison between operators and supervisors/manager while assisting in scheduling resources, equipment, and conducting document training. Ensure on-time equipment maintenance, calibration, and minor adjustments, plus clear minor machine difficulties as trained. Monitor equipment performance, address material concerns, and resolve quality, equipment, and manufacturing system issues by interacting with cross-functional departments. Maintain compliance with FDA, ISO, and OSHA regulations while leading daily assignments and delegating tasks for continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • 6-8 years of related experience
  • High School diploma/certificate or equivalent
  • Experience in setting daily assignments and delegating tasks or projects inside and outside of normal production with both small and large teams
  • Ability to effectively over-see multiple projects at one time
  • Offer feedback for improvements
  • Implement new strategies
  • Communicate proposals professionally to MFG, ENG, and support teams
  • Ability to adapt to change
  • Motivated to improve performance
  • Maintain a proactive mindset in a high stress, fast-paced environment
  • Technically / mechanically inclined – the ability to learn and retain technical and mechanical skills
  • Effective in communication and collaboration with associates, peers, leaders, support teams
  • Ability to coordinate meetings and projects professionally and in a timely manner
  • Proficient skills with computer technology
  • Address and resolve material concerns such as discrepancies, incorrect information, and non-conformities
  • Experience leading and motivating your fellow team members

Desired Qualifications

  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) knowledge
  • Experience with training associates
