Job Summary
Set up and run light industrial semi-automated equipment to produce medical devices, perform packaging on semi-automated packaging equipment, and assemble goods on the production line. Responsibilities include operating in-house machines safely, identifying safety issues, conducting quality checks to ensure defect-free products, documenting production and machine performance in the company system, maintaining machines, basic troubleshooting, visually inspecting in-process/finished materials, moving and labeling bags/boxes, weighing and counting products, stacking pallets, and adhering to quality guidelines and housekeeping procedures. The role requires reading and following shop orders, starting machines and monitoring for correct operation, and performing required cleaning verification and documentation. Standard shift is Monday–Thursday, 5:00am–3:30pm; training provided with opportunities for growth within Cardinal Health’s inclusive workplace.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED (preferred)
- Ability to read and follow shop order instructions
