Job Summary
Drive the progression and timely closure of deviations, CAPAs, and change controls while supporting Operational Document Owners with updating SOPs and controlled documents in the electronic Document Management System. Maintain KPI trackers and prepare operational metrics to support business performance, assisting with new equipment implementation and Practical Process Improvement initiatives. Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams to gather information for internal, customer, and regulatory audits, ensuring inspection readiness across the facility. This 12-month fixed-term contract in Brisbane requires adherence to GMP and safety standards, including cleanroom protocols and PPE. You'll thrive with a tertiary qualification in science or engineering, 1-2 years of GMP experience, and strong organizational skills within a leading biopharmaceutical environment.
Required Qualifications
- A tertiary qualification in Science, Biotechnology, Engineering or another related discipline, or equivalent experience within a regulated manufacturing environment
- 1-2 years' experience in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical manufacturing environment
- A sound understanding of cGMP principles and quality systems
- Experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Teams)
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality and compliance
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic manufacturing environment
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- A collaborative approach and confidence working with cross-functional teams
- A continuous improvement mindset and willingness to learn
- Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards
- Cleanroom: no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair etc... allowed
- Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.)
