Job Summary
Machine Operator Assistant responsibilities include staging work for the machines and caring for machine fluids (lubricants and coolant), maintaining the wash area, filling machines with oil, filling coolant wagons, performing machine coolant changes, material handling (receiving, storing, and moving raw materials and WIP), retrieving/gaging, move/stage material to machining centers, 5S tasks, and painting/floor cleaning as needed. Requires knowledge of safe work practices with solvents and overhead crane use; good communication skills. Preferred education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
