Job Summary
Manufacturing Assistant role in Charleston, SC, supporting waste management and compliance. Responsibilities include maintaining waste profiles, identifying hazardous material sources and disposing of them per regulations, handling disposal paperwork, assisting with facility inspections, and ensuring quality management and policy adherence. Operates equipment such as mixing devices and scales, follows work instructions, and reports deviations observed during production to supervisors. Direct-hire with benefits and overtime opportunities; schedule is 6am-3pm, Monday through Friday.
Required Qualifications
- Full compliance for all applicable laws and regulations pertaining to department and job functions.
- Responsible for the upkeep of waste profiles.
- Responsible for identifying sources of hazardous materials and using appropriate methods to dispose of them.
- Complete all necessary paperwork required to dispose of hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
- Assist with facility inspections.
- Quality management as well as adherence to all company policy and procedure.
