Job Summary
Build commercial units and accessories by following engineering drawings, checking assembly quality, and completing inspection forms. Ensure all products meet high standards through rigorous testing, while maintaining a clean, safe work area and adhering to safety procedures. Report unsafe conditions, wear required PPE, and stay focused from shift start to finish. Build units on time, use portable power tools, complete non-conformance reports, and solve problems independently. Be flexible to switch tasks and contribute ideas to improve builds and processes.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of relevant manufacturing experience
- Basic computer skills
- Mathematical skills that require the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide and to read measurements in inches and feet
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, electrical schematics, and other manufacturing instructions
- Familiarity with portable power tools and machine tools such as bandsaw, panel saw, chop saw and grinder
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
- Reliable transportation to maintain consistent attendance and punctuality
- Ability to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, hear, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel
- Fine motor skills for wiring components and performing detailed assembly tasks
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
- Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- Ability to understand issues, problems, and opportunities and make timely, sound decisions
- Ability to communicate with other employees and customers, perform an assortment of administrative tasks, and have personal management skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm under high pressure situations
- Friday - Sunday 5am - 5:15pm shift availability
- Weekend shift availability
- Ability to work in an air conditioned/filtered air production facility
