Job Summary
Assemble standard and custom fireplace products using various pieces of hand tools and equipment; operate a mechanical hoist, forklift, pallet jacks, and pneumatic tools when necessary; ensure product and process meet Quality, Delivery, Cost and Safety expectations; work as a team to meet daily schedules and provide supportive training when needed; maintain a clean, organized workspace by completing 5S tasks (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain).
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong hand and finger dexterity
- Commitment to wearing proper PPE and following safe work practices
- Willingness to be cross-trained and jump between tasks
- Openness to learning and applying Lean manufacturing principles
- A self-starter mindset with the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
