Job Summary
Develop, optimize, and implement manufacturing and assembly processes for defense powertrain systems, including engines, transmissions, cooling, and hydraulic systems. Lead vehicle integration activities, create documentation such as SOPs and BOMs, and support prototype builds, pilot production, and first article inspections. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. Develop tooling and fixtures to enhance efficiency while ensuring compliance with military standards and Caterpillar engineering practices. Monitor performance metrics to recommend improvements that reduce waste and increase throughput.
Required Qualifications
