Job Summary
Manufacturing Analyst (A2) at Northrop Grumman Defense Systems, located in Huntsville, AL, supporting the Sentinel Program. Responsibilities include planning, continuous improvement, material management, process optimization, and liaison across Manufacturing Engineering and Standard Tooling. Key duties involve submission and follow-up on rapid request orders (RROs) for industrial supplies, generating reports for aging tool replacements, leading aging tool removal, monitoring tool checkouts by mechanics, coordinating new tool deliveries and consumable delivery systems, managing tool inventory levels (fly away and non fly away), and communicating with production teams regarding asset designation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 2 years experience or High school diploma / Equivalent with 6 years experience may be accepted in lieu of degree
- Ability to work on-site in Huntsville Alabama
- Experience with manufacturing planning
- Familiar with tooling and calibration or other similar experience
- Familiar with manufacturing process
- Experience with SAP/ERP or other related inventory management system
- Active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope
