Job Summary
Manufacturing Analyst / Principal Manufacturing Analyst in Baltimore, MD, focusing on planning and controlling the timely flow of products through the Manufacturing Cell to support internal/external customer delivery. Serves as primary interface between Production Management, Manufacturing supervision, Cell Management, Operations Program Management, Production Material Control, Kitting and Inventory Management, Final Assembly, Engineering and Quality. Provides status of hardware from initial kit conversion through manufacturing to delivery, maintains SAP metrics (aging orders, overdue hours, confirmed not delivered, floor stock inventory), and coordinates resolution of material shortages for open production orders. Requires strong organizational, analytical, presentation, problem-resolution and process-improvement skills with ability to communicate across internal/external customers and work in cross-functional teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience in Manufacturing, Materials, MRP, Production Control, Supply Chain or Business Coordination
- Master’s degree with experience in Manufacturing, Materials, MRP, Production Control, Supply Chain or Business Coordination
- 6 years of experience in Manufacturing, Materials, MRP, Production Control, Supply Chain or Business Coordination may be considered in lieu of degree requirement
- Experience with SAP/ERP or other related system
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance is required
- U.S. Citizenship is required
- Preferred Qualifications: Active/Current U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance
