Job Summary
Develop cost estimates and pricing for quote and proposal requests from new and existing customers. Analyze customer revisions to determine related cost and price changes, while handling administrative aspects to set up parts, kits, and assemblies in the business system. Evaluate customer prints and specifications to determine best production methods considering cost and quality, and work collaboratively with Plant Managers, Sales teams, and corporate departments to ensure accurate manufacturing cost estimates. Participate in technical discussions, communicate project status to meet agreed-upon deadlines, and assist in creating formal presentations for planned business review meetings. Spend more than 90% of time executing day-to-day administrative and technical activities associated with developing data used to propose and set up new business.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift 20 lbs. as needed
- Ability to bend, stand, climb, twist and stoop for extended periods of time
- Ability to perform sedentary work including sitting for extended periods of time
- Ability to operate standard office equipment
- Have good vision of 20/30 with corrective lenses
- Ability to maintain coordination of hand and finger movements to grasp and manipulate objects with precision
- Subject to environmental conditions that occur indoors and outdoors which includes but is not limited to exposure to changing temperatures, loud noises, vibration from use of equipment and the following: Hazards: Variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, electrical current, exposure to high heat or exposure to chemicals. Desired Qualifications
- 3-5 years of applicable experience
- Blueprint training or experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Adobe
- Experience with ERP system
- Strong analytical and organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong customer-focused communication skills
- Able to work in a high-paced environment
- Manufacturing experience
- Speak conversational English
- Associates or Bachelor's degree
