Job Summary
Create and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for frontend and backend systems. Identify, document, and track software defects while performing regression, functional, and usability testing. Collaborate with developers and product managers to define testing scope and ensure software meets quality standards. Maintain testing documentation, communicate defect reports, and conduct integration testing using dummy programs. Perform exploratory testing to evaluate functionality and validate system performance. Minimum one year of experience required with proficiency in JavaScript and familiarity with trading concepts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Manual Tester or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes
- Experience with regression testing, functional testing, and usability testing
- Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Notion)
- Basic knowledge of trading and Futures & Options (F&O)
- Proficiency in both frontend and backend testing
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Eagerness to learn new skills and adapt to new technologies
- Knowledge of automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress) is a plus
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript
