Job Summary
Manual QA Engineer for the SIMBA Team ( Prague; remote worldwide) focused on manual testing across browsers and devices, creating detailed test plans and cases, identifying and documenting defects, and collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Support. Responsibilities include executing regression testing and release validation, maintaining QA documentation and regression suites, and contributing to continuous improvement of QA processes and communication. Qualifications include a BS in CS or related field (or equivalent experience), 3+ years in manual web QA, strong QA fundamentals, Agile experience, excellent debugging and written communication, and familiarity with Jira/Linear and browser developer tools. Nice-to-have experience: accessibility testing with WCAG, text-to-speech domains, API testing with Postman. Salary: 3,000-5,000 USD per month in the Czech Republic range, plus bonus and stock. Global remote work is supported.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of manual QA testing, with a strong focus on Web applications
- Strong understanding of QA fundamentals including test planning, test case design, regression testing, exploratory testing, and bug reporting
- Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating cross functionally with engineering and product teams
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to isolate root causes and communicate issues clearly
- Strong written communication skills, especially when documenting defects and test results
- Familiarity with tools like Jira, Linear, or similar bug tracking/project management systems
- Experience using browser developer tools to assist with debugging and issue reproduction
- Nice-to-Have: Experience with accessibility testing and WCAG guidelines
- Nice-to-Have: Familiarity with text-to-speech technologies or audio-based products
- Nice-to-Have: Exposure to test automation tools
- Nice-to-Have: Experience validating APIs using tools like Postman
