Job Summary
Manual QA Engineer for SIMBA Team (remote, global) focusing on building and validating high-quality web features for SIMBA Voice Agents. Responsible for developing and executing detailed manual test plans and test cases across core user flows and edge cases, performing hands-on cross-browser testing, collaborating with engineers and product teams to identify, reproduce, isolate, and document defects with clear steps and expected vs actual results, and maintaining organized QA documentation including test cases, regression suites, test reports, and release validation summaries. Participates in Agile workflows (daily standups, sprints, grooming, retrospectives) to ensure QA is embedded throughout the development lifecycle, executes regression testing and release validation, and identifies opportunities to improve QA processes and coverage. Ideal candidate has a B.S. in a technical field or equivalent experience, 3+ years of manual QA experience with web applications, strong QA fundamentals, experience in Agile environments, excellent troubleshooting and communication skills, and familiarity with Jira/Linear and API/automation tooling; nice-to-have accessibility testing (WCAG), text-to-speech familiarity, and API testing with Postman. Required Qualifications
- B.S. in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience in manual QA testing with strong focus on Web applications
- Strong understanding of QA fundamentals: test planning, test case design, regression testing, exploratory testing, bug reporting
- Experience in Agile environments and cross-functional collaboration with engineering and product teams
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with ability to isolate root causes and communicate issues clearly
- Strong written communication skills for documenting defects and test results
- Familiarity with Jira, Linear, or similar bug tracking/project management systems
- Experience using browser developer tools for debugging and issue reproduction
