Job Summary
Manual QA Engineer for SIMBA Team working on SIMBA Voice Agents; develop and execute detailed manual test plans and test cases for web applications, perform hands-on cross-browser testing, and document defects with steps, expected vs. actual results, and evidence. Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Customer Support to triage issues, participate in Agile ceremonies, and ensure QA is embedded throughout the development lifecycle. Maintain QA documentation, regression suites, and release validation summaries; identify improvements in QA processes and test coverage. Strong candidates will have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 3+ years of manual QA experience, solid QA fundamentals, experience with Jira/Linear, browser dev tools, and a preference for accessibility testing and API validation skills.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of manual QA testing, with a strong focus on Web applications
- Strong understanding of QA fundamentals including test planning, test case design, regression testing, exploratory testing, and bug reporting
- Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating cross functionally with engineering and product teams
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to isolate root causes and communicate issues clearly
- Strong written communication skills, especially when documenting defects and test results
- Familiarity with tools like Jira, Linear, or similar bug tracking/project management systems
- Experience using browser developer tools to assist with debugging and issue reproduction
- Nice-to-Have: Experience with accessibility testing and familiarity with WCAG guidelines
- Nice-to-Have: Familiarity with text-to-speech technologies or audio-based products
- Nice-to-Have: Exposure to test automation tools
- Nice-to-Have: Experience validating APIs using tools like Postman
