Job Summary
Review product requirements, user stories, and functional specifications to design and execute comprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, integration, UI, exploratory, and smoke testing. Identify and document defects with clear reproduction steps, track issues through JIRA and XRAY, and verify fixes before release. Collaborate with developers, product owners, and designers during Agile ceremonies to clarify requirements, identify risks, and support root cause analysis. Ensure product releases meet quality standards while maintaining test documentation and contributing to continuous improvement of QA processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field - or equivalent practical experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in manual software testing
- Good understanding of QA methodologies, tools and testing processes
- Experience testing web and/or mobile applications
- Ability to create clear and concise bug reports and test documentation
- Experience with collaboration and tracking tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, XRAY or similar
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Basic understanding of Agile/Scrum software development methodologies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (minimum B2 level)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins
- Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, or SQL
- Exposure to test automation concepts and tools, ideally Cypress
- ISTQB Foundation Level certification or equivalent certification
- Experience working within FinTech, SaaS, or enterprise software environments
