Job Summary
Manual QA Engineer needed to ensure stability, correctness, and compliance of a fintech platform handling sensitive financial and identity-related data. Responsibilities include translating requirements into test scenarios, designing and executing manual test cases and plans, validating onboarding and identity verification (KYC/AML) flows, testing RBAC and access control, validating audit logs and regulatory reporting features, performing API and integration testing across multiple systems, defect tracking throughout the SDLC, and collaborating with developers and stakeholders in sprint activities. Requirements emphasize experience with manual testing of web/backend systems, API testing, test case/documentation creation, and strong analytical skills, with English communication essential for daily project work. Nice-to-have areas include fintech/domain experience, RBAC/security testing, SQL/database verification, exposure to blockchain/digital assets, and familiarity with basic test automation concepts.
Required Qualifications
- Commercial experience as a Manual QA Engineer
- Experience testing web applications and backend-driven systems
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA best practices
- Experience creating and maintaining test cases and test documentation
- Experience with API testing (Postman, Swagger or similar tools)
- Ability to analyze logs and investigate system behavior
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
- Good communication skills in cross-functional teams
- English for daily project communication
