Manual Machinist

Set up and operate manual lathes, milling machines, and grinders to produce precision aerospace ground support components to tolerances ranging from ±0.005" to ±0.0002". Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions while using precision measuring instruments to verify part accuracy. Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on equipment, maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment. Collaborate with the team to meet production schedules and quality standards. This role requires strong blueprint-reading skills, close attention to detail, and the ability to maintain high standards of quality and accuracy. Manufacturing background required; aerospace industry experience preferred.
