Manual Machinist

Machinist sought to set up and operate manual lathes, boring mills, engine lathes, Bridgeports, and vertical turret lathes (VTLs) to manufacture, repair, and modify critical components. Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings, perform precision measurements with metrology tools to ensure parts meet specifications, monitor operations, and make real-time adjustments. Maintain machinery and a safe, organized work area in a manufacturing shop environment. Demonstrates strong machining principles, tooling selection, material property understanding, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Reporting to Shop Supervisor; no direct reports. Equal opportunity employer; physically demanding with exposure to typical shop conditions.
