Job Summary
Machine complex, high-precision parts for equipment repairs using lathes, milling machines, shapers, and grinders. Calculate dimensions and tolerances with micrometers and gauges, then machine parts to strict specifications. Evaluate procedures to recommend efficiency improvements and detect defective materials for reporting. Maintain a clean work area while following safety procedures and performing assembly or disassembly as needed. Manage your own workflow and handle extra assignments as directed. Monday–Friday, 1st Shift (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM) with overtime available. English or Spanish required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Regular, consistent attendance
- Overtime as needed
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
- Minimum of 3 years' experience using manual machining equipment
- Crane and forklift experience
- Technical certification

- Experience in a manufacturing machining environment
- Proficiency with measuring tools and close tolerances
- Ability to read blueprints and metric measurements
- Mechanically inclined with the ability to follow specific written instructions and procedures
- Exceptional organization and attention to detail
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Working knowledge of basic mathematical skills
- Willingness to learn and ability to work independently as well as in a team setting
- Exhibit qualities of trustworthiness, a strong work ethic, and a positive attitude
- English or Spanish
